Lee Carsley frustrated after England under the age of 21 had Slovenia in non -stop paralyzing

Lee Carsley admitted his frustration after his side in England was sub-21 that he kept a tie in Slovenia this afternoon.

The young lions started slowly, but then dominated with only a series of good savings by goalkeeper Martin Turk keeping England on the line.

Turk’s best savings reached the second half of the injuries, and tilted a Jack Hinshelwood head in the bar.

We lacked quality: Carsley

Carsley told Channel 4: “It was frustrating. It wasn’t because of the desire for effort, sometimes we lacked a little quality. We had some really good possibilities and if we had taken one of them, I think we would have won the game comfortably.

“We need to give Slovenia credit too. They made us very difficult, especially the way they started and the way they settled in terms of leaving the ball.

“We did not start quickly and we were under pressure in the first 15 minutes. It was important that we did not grant it, so it was a real positive.”

England now has four points in its two games in Group B and knows that a point against Germany on Wednesday will be enough to see them.

“The goal is to qualify for the group and we are still in progress,” said Carsley. “It is really important for players to recover; I think we will definitely refresh the team for the German game.”

McATEE changes attention to the Group’s final game

Captain James McATEE also rushed to his attention to Germany Game.

“We are disappointed, we have come here to win, but it is a point and we are still responsible for (rating),” said Manchester City’s midfielder.

“I don’t think we were in general, they were just the possibilities: I missed some, there were some great savings from the goalkeeper. Another day we arrived with three points.

“We will return now and socialize, see our families a bit and we will be ready for the next game.”
