“We are heartbroken by the tragic passing of our friend and dear Coworker, Lauren. She died on June 9th, suddenly, just a few seconds after giving birth to her son,” Gofundme’s description is reading. “This inconceivable loss is impossible to understand, and the hole that Lauren has left in this world and in her own family is impossible to fill.

“Kevin is delighted to share that baby Jackson was out of the Nicu and at home with his father and sister,” he read a message on the Gofundme page. “(Kevin says he has been an angel and had eaten and slept as a champion. He is so alert and attentive already just 4 days old.”
The bender of those who have given to the fundraiser ensured that Kevin was “so deeply touched by the generosity and kindness of all.”
“It’s been just over 48 hours since we launched this fundraiser. Like Lauren’s Coworkers, we’ve all really blown us off by the depth and breadth of the response,” Pender wrote on Thursday. “As we cope with our own grief, it has been so moving to see how this fundraiser has spread. We blown past our first target and we are fast approaching the second. Thank you to everyone for giving and spreading the word to your wider networks.”
He concluded: “Today, we contacted a charity that offers families a baby formula and diapers after losing a mother. They can also link Kevin to support groups. He has a long way ahead and we want to make sure we are there throughout.”
Kevin broke his silence about passing his wife on Friday by answering Shed Media’s original statement.
“Lauren is the love of my life, and I was blessed by God that she chose to spend her life with me and gave me two beautiful children to remember every minute of every day,” Kevin wrote through Instagram. “Pray for our family and thank you all for the prayers, words and kind thoughts. God’s blessing.”
