Launch of Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin rocket

Jeff Bezos’ company Blue Origin successfully launched a rocket into orbit for the first time.

The New Glenn reusable rocket was originally scheduled to lift off earlier this week, but was delayed due to a “problem with the vehicle subsystem.”

The mission was partially successful after the space launch vehicle failed to land on a platform in the ocean.

Still, it’s still a big step forward for Jeff Bezos and his company, which has spent years trying to get a rocket into orbit.
