Where we started
When season 1 was broadcast, Joe worked in the Mooney Bookshop, and that’s where he met and fell in love with Beck (Elizabeth lail). Season 3 took Us to a fictional suburb in California where Love and Joe tried to start life with their son. The only problem? Joe again fell in love and this time with Natalie (Michaela McManus). That did not last long since once a girlfriend counted what was happening and Joe redirected his attention to Marienne (Tati Gabrielle). Like any toxic relationship, Joe and Love faced in the finale and became dead as he fake his own death.
Where we left off
The last time we checked with Joe, it was taking crack in academia with a tour abroad. He made the change that made Joe undertake alias Jonathan Moore and Long Story briefly, Psyche Joe turned into a wealthy eating murderer without his knowledge.
Initially Joe thought there was a politician in London called Rhys (Ed players) was to blame. It was only until Joe killed Rhys what was happening, who started a deadly chain of events. Joe was not only a risk to himself – but Marienne who was now his hostage.
The spin? Marienne did not actually die Oh overdose because of Joe. He was helped by Joe student, Nadia (Amy-Leigh Hickman) and escape to Paris. Meanwhile, Joe tried to end his life but was saved by his latest love interest Kate (Charlotte Ritchie). Before we knew it, Joe managed to escape any responsibility after silencing Nadia from revealing it by framing it for murder instead.
