Kylie Kelce is finding her own podcast identity with her show, “Not Gonna Lie,” but she’s thrown in a few shout-outs here and there to her husband, Jason Kelce.
News broke in November 2024 that Kylie joins Jason and his brother, Travis Kelcein the podcast world. “Not Gonna Lie” debuted the following month, allowing Kylie to reintroduce herself. “I have a husband you may know, he dragged me into this mess,” she joked on her first episode. “I swiped right and now we’re here.”
Sitting down with her wide range of guests – from the Olympian Alex Morgan to an influencer Allison Kuch – Kylie has often referred to Jason and the “other podcast” (aka “New Heights”). She has even told listeners what sets his show apart by her husband and brother-in-law, often emphasizing that “Not Gonna Lie” is about “women supporting women.”
In her initial announcement, Kylie admitted she was “just as shocked” as everyone else that she would be supporting the mic. “But if everyone is going to be talking about me and my family, you might as well hear it from me,” he added.
Scroll down to see how Kylie subtly referenced Jason on her podcast – and how she blatantly called him out:
“If you watch another podcast that I know the hosts from, they got better with time too. So I’d appreciate some patience, please,” teased Kylie during her debut.
Kylie went on to joke about one particular piece of “New Heights” mythology. “My producer, we’re going to call her Queen Emma,” he said. “That’s because over in the other podcast, they’ve reduced an executive producer down to an intern. That’s right, you heard me. Intern Brandon is actually an executive producer. But you know what we do here? We lift people up.”

“We are so lucky that my husband makes cute girls,” Kylie said in December 2024, a month after revealing that she and Jason fourth daughter on the way. “When you look at Wyatt’s baby pictures and Jason’s baby pictures side by side, it looks like we cloned him. … Believe me, I’m trying desperately to make a child that has any resemblance to me.”
Answering fans’ questions, Kylie revealed whether Jason would look after their daughters during his recording sessions. “How can I say this nicely? No, she admitted, explaining that her stance is “not a knock on her husband” as a parent. “It’s busier than it’s ever been. He’s working so hard and grinding at the moment.”
Kylie explained that she prefers to “schedule childcare” when she’s booked. “I’m just making sure I’m covered, and if that means he’s in the house and someone else is there, then that’s what we have,” he said.

Kylie’s first guest was It’s always sunny in Philadelphia a star Kaitlin Olsonwho was surprised to learn that Kylie – a native of Philadelphia – had “never seen a full episode” of the show. “(It feels) like when people walk up to Jason and they have this real serum effect, where they’re like, ‘I’m not a football fan,'” she joked.
When Olson was asked about episode recommendations, Kylie specifically said “the one where my husband (and friend) Beau (Allen) had a cameo doesn’t count.”
The episode in question, “The Gang Wins the Big Game,” aired in 2018. Olson had only good things to say about Jason from his short time on set, teasing Kylie in response, “Try to live with him.”
When a fan declared in December 2024 that Kylie is the funniest member of the Kelce family, Jason shared his thoughts via X, writing, “The funniest look.” Of course, Kylie used her podcast platform to respond.
“I tell him regularly that it’s not funny,” she said. “I have to because so many people laugh at his jokes and tell him he’s funny. I’ll take it, I can be the funniest looking. I mean, the Kelce genes are strong. I’m a hard outlier…so I can take that. “
She added, “I think sometimes he forgets that I can actually see his tweets.”

Longtime “New Heights” fans are well aware of the back story to Kylie’s pet quest – and they know Jason isn’t interested in bringing a cat home. “Believe it or not, I love and respect my husband,” Kylie teased on her podcast, sharing an update on the hilarious feud. “And if he doesn’t want a cat right now, I don’t necessarily want to do it against his will. I think there will come a time when we break it down and he not only says it is right but also supports the decision. And in a loving marriage, I like to respect his feelings.”
“I have to discipline my children and my husband. Who are we kidding?” Kylie joked during a December 2024 episode of the sports broadcaster Charissa Thompson. “He gets to bed time and he launches kids onto beds. I’m like, ‘Hi, we’re winding down.’ Can we be adults for two minutes?”

Following the premiere of Jason’s ESPN show, They Call It Late Nightin January 2025, Kylie explained how she was tapped to be his publicist. “Going into this is a perfect way to describe how I became a publisher for this,” he explained. “My husband asked me to take part, and being a supportive wife, I said yes. Hesitantly.”
When asked if she was nervous about being featured on TV, Kylie compared the experience to her wedding day. “I was nervous about walking down the aisle because all eyes were going to be on me,” she said. “And then the minute I could see Jason, I was like, ‘Oh, I’m fine. I can go down the aisle. I’ll focus on it.'”
He added, “Likewise… I got to watch Jason do his thing (on ESPN) and he’s the main focus and all that, and he’s crushing it. There was no need for me to get nervous.”
“The landscape of online dating from when I met Jason 10 years ago to what it is now – or what I understand through other explanations – I’m so glad I caught it on the front end,” Kylie replied to one listener. question in January 2025. “First of all, I had no horror stories before I met Jason because I had never met someone from Tinder in person before Jason. I wasn’t there that long. … I think I’ve won Tinder.”
