One of the most talked about moments of the 2025 Golden Globes was no doubt Kylie Jenner spending the night all over her actor boyfriend Timothée Chalamet – but if you ask Jenner herself, it really was more of a girls’ night.
On Monday, January 6, the model and reality star, 27, documented her night at the glitzy awards via her Instagram grid, sharing a series of glamorous photos from the ceremony on Sunday, January 5 at the Beverly Hills Hilton in Los Angeles with the caption: “Cuuutest night with the cutest girls in some Versace 1999.”
Jenner’s low cut, chain mail Versace dress appears to have been inspired by one of these Elizabeth Hurley‘s many iconic turn of the century looks. Way back in 1999, when Jenner was still in diapers, the actress wore a lilac version to the CFDA Awards, when she Hugh Grantdate.
Of course, on Sunday night, Jenner was also on the arm of a beloved and respected curly-haired actor – but, as ever, Chalamet, 29, was nowhere to be seen. his Insta post.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder attended the ceremony to support Chalamet, who was nominated for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama, for his role as Bob Dylan in Complete Anonymous.
The couple may have been dating for almost two years but his absence on his social media feeds is noticeable. Chalamet is clearly more than willing to PDA with his girlfriend (the pair were spotted kissing at the Globes), and we’re sure his phone is jam-packed with smoky selfies of the lovely couple, but we’re guessing that not everyone wants to be an Instagram lover.
Instead, Jenner’s official account of the night was all about the girls and the dress. He shared a cute selfie of him posing with Chalamet’s Complete Anonymous costars, Elle Fanning a Monica Barbarobut her dress was mostly in the middle of the stage.
This isn’t the first time Jenner has been inspired by Hurley. At last year’s Golden Globes, she recreated the long, sheer black lace dress the 59-year-old British actress wore to the Pantages Theater in 1997, again with Grant. Maybe Jenner sees herself and Chalamet as a modern version of one of the ultimate power couples of the 90s?
Jenner wasn’t the only star at Sunday’s event to pay homage to iconic outfits from the past: Ariana GrandeGivenchy’s vintage look was a nod to Audrey Hepburn.
