Kyle Walker has revealed that he would willingly give up one of the medals of his Premier League winners with Manchester City if he meant that he could have lifted Europe League with the old Tottenham club.
The veteran on the right spent the first years of his career in Spurs, during a time when the team was regularly made up of his inability to win trophies.
Despite a stage of eight years in northern London, Silverware eluded him during his time.
Tottenham recently finished his trophy drought by passing Manchester United in Bilbao. The time saw that Heck-Min Son, the former team of Walker’s team, raises the trophy, bringing such a long-awaited success to the club.
Now, 35, Walker admits the view of Spurs triumph, he aroused a sense of envy, strong enough that he would be happy to lose one of his titles from the Premier League only because of having experienced this type of glory with the club.
Speaking about his own Kyle Walker podcast, The England International said: “It would probably resign from a Premier League title, not the first, to have won this Europe League with Tottenham.
“I know what it means. I would probably give my second, it is difficult to give -one, but so it meant that moment. Being in this template of Spurs that won a trophy.”

Walker arrived at White Hart Lane in 2009 after progressing for the ranks at Sheffield United. It was a key part of Mauricio Pochettino’s team, which had future England stars like Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Danny Rose.
The side approached the success, finishing second in the Premier League in 2016-17, but did not finally reach the finish line.
He was the first among that main group he continued, deciding in 2017 that his ambitions were better served in Manchester City.
In City, Walker has accumulated an enviable journey of six Premier League titles, two Cups FA, Four Carabao Cop and a Trophy of the Champions League, much more than none of his former teammates.
On the contrary, Kane had to wait until 2025 for his first great honor after moving to Bayern Munich, while Son has just raised his first European title with Spurs.
Despite his impressive resume, Walker is now at a junction.
After spending the second half of last season on loan to AC Milan, the Italian club chose not to take on a permanent agreement.
With just a year remaining his contract, the right is expected to return to Manchester City for the preseason, although Pep Guardiola’s workforce seems to be evolving above him.
