Kristin Cavallari Getting into enough teenager-and-teenager, and, at one time, went to fight with an ex-boyfriend Stephen Colletti That led to running in with the police.
“In Laguna, I remember I was drawn home by the cops because I was out,” Cavallari, 38, remembered on Tuesday, September 2, “Let’s be honest” podcast. “Until you are 18, there are curfews. I think it’s midnight and I was out past a curfew.”
Cavallari explained that she was younger at the time and was out past a curfew with Colletti, who is now 39, which was a higher head in high school.
“We were parked on the side of the road, I think we were fighting,” he continued. “We had pulled over to fight because there is nowhere else to go. A cop drove past us and saw two teenagers fighting. Of course, it’s going to come along and see what’s going on.”
The officer came over to Cavallari and Colletti and asked the pair to show him their ids. As Cavallari was not a legal adult at the time, the officer drove her home. However, Cavallari’s father had no idea that Cavallari had “left” her home in the first place.
“I remember walking up to the door like, ‘It’s about to murder me. My dad is going to really murder me because he doesn’t know I’m gone,’” he reflected. “I remember my dad answered the door so confused and (he was) like, ‘Wait, I thought you were asleep.'”
Cavallari and Colletti dated on and off through high school. Their alleged lover romance and triangle with the Costar Lauren Conrad was a major focus on the popular reality series Laguna beach. The play was broadcast on MTV between 2004 and 2006 for three seasons.
Although Cavallari and Colletti did not pursue a relationship after their reality television days, the pair have remained good friends.
“We’re friends. I talk to them from time to time,” just said colletti Weekly US In July 2018 of his dynamics with Cavallari and Conrad’s post-high school. “I will go down. Conrad will throw a killer party 4th of July in Laguna, and so I’m usually down there for that. And then, yes, I’ll talk to Cavallari from time to time. We always check in and say hello.”
Cavallari echoed similar feelings years later, during Chapter 2023 of it and Colletti’s “Back to the Beach” podcast.
“We have always been in each other’s corners, always rooted for each other,” he said. “We have always cared for each other, which I think is important.”
