The West Indies Legend, Chris Gayle, who was known for his presence and style, has made some interesting calls during the “Choose” round at the Shubhankar Mishra podcast. Chris Gayle has launched two of the names of his former RCB colleagues: Virat Kohli and AB of Villiers.
The first question was whether he would choose the Kohli Virated Indian battles superstar or the Pakistani star Babar Azam star. Gayle initially doubted for a moment, but then confidently went with his former RCB teammate.
He said, “I don’t even know why I choose it, but we go with then.”

Then the universal head had to choose between Suryakumar Yadav and AB of Villiers. Captain T20i of India has often been compared to the South Legend -AFRICANA ab Villiers because of its ability to hit the ball through the ground against both the pacers and the spinners.

Even Suryakumar is called “Mr. 360” of the modern age. However, this time, Gayle did not think twice and chose with Villiers. Well, Shubhankar Mishra did a hard task, returning to the Sachin debate tendulkar versus virat Kohli during the discussion.
However, it was an easy question for Gayle, as the Great of the Caribbean only smiled and chose Sachin tendulkar over Kohli, paying tribute to the immense contribution of the Master Blaster to the game and his state as one of the greatest baptismers in the game he has ever seen.
He said, “I’m going to go, Sachin.” When he was asked to choose between Jacques Kallis and Hardik Pandya, Gayle ignored the Indian star, who is now playing only white ball cricket and went with the mythical South African.
He greeted Kallis’s contribution to the game over the years with Bat and Ball. The final question was about the fast bowls and the legendary mayor had to choose between Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi and the Jasprit Bumrah in India. Gayle chose Bumrah on Afridi, thanks to his impressive performances through the formats for the Indian Cricket team.
During the same interview, Chris Gayle talked about the strong bond he shares with Villiers and Kohli who developed while playing RCB. He described both Kohli and Villiers as legends, not only for his field skills, but also for his personalities.
Gayle said he was impressed with his talent and how easy it was to take with them. He mentioned that the two players were very humble and appropriate, which made the team environment more positive and pleasant.
He recalled the fun they had together and how many great memories they created as they played RCB. The bond they shared went beyond the field, as strong friendships were built and they supported each other through the ups and downs of the game.
Gayle was signed by saying: “Those legends, phenomenal players and phenomenal people too. You know, very fresh and very low.
