Kody brown and his family reflected on a son GarrisonDeath during the recent chapter of Sister wives – And wonder what’s next without it.
“Grief comes in waves. It wasn’t meant to be like this. You know what I’m saying?” Kody, 56, said during Sunday’s episode, May 4, from the TLC series, which is the first time The family addressed Garrison’s death on camera. “It’s just heartbreak.”

Garrison’s mother remembered during Sunday’s episode that her son Gabriel was the one who found his brother at his home in Arizona. Janelle explained that after talking to Garrison throughout the day, he stopped sending her about 8:30 pm, so he asked his brothers to look at him.
He went to bed and woke up to a call from Gabriel, who said his garrison had died. “I don’t know what happened that night did that because He has had other nights like this Where he would drink and then pass out and he would become a kind of radio quietly, but he would be back in the morning, ”explained Janelle.” I don’t know what happened this time. “

Meri, who was married to Kody between 1990 and 2023, was filming a Sister wives Confessional interview when she received multiple calls from her ex-husband. She told her that Garrison had taken his own life, and went quickly to see him and later Janelle.
“It was only this strange, wonderful, surreal moment,” Meri said of the phone call with Kody, noting that she did not believe that “one of our children” would commit suicide.
After hung the phone, Meri said she went to Kody and Robyn’s house and Christine’s daughter Gwendlyn Brown was there. “She came out and she was, like, hanging me,” said Meri through tears. “Oh Gosh. I didn’t even know what to do.”
“I called Janelle (next) and I said, ‘I’m stopping, I get food and I’ll be over in a while, then I’ll be there,’” Meri remembered. “I didn’t know what else to do.”
“I’m in my room working and (Kody) has come in and he just looks in a big shock and I’m like, ‘What’s going on?’” Robyn, 46, reported for the moment Kody told her that Garrison was gone. “He started crying and I was just like, ‘Oh my gosh, what? I’m just trying to collect the details, trying to find out what’s going on.
Kody and Janelle’s oldest daughter was one of the children who went on camera to discuss her brother’s death. She remembered talking to Janelle on and off that whole day when her mother called her again and broke the news.
“I was like, ‘Oddly, I was about to call you,’ and he said, ‘I’m driving to Garrison’s house. He achieved suicide,'” Maddie told the cameras.
He admitted, “There are a few seconds in your life that I feel like changing the chemistry of your brain, and I definitely feel like calling siblings that a died sibling is definitely changing your brain chemistry.”
Maddie, before his death, added that she tried to convince Garrison to move to North Carolina near her family. He revealed that Garrison was “getting closer” to agreeing when he died.
