Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are ready to block the horns with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their next Premier League (IPL) 2025 game.
KKR management, according to Revsportz reports, requested the surface used for the game. However, his request has been rejected as a land curator, as Sujan Mukherjee does not feel like using the same strip as he was during his last game.
Revsportz reports stated that ground number 4 will be used for the Kolkata Knight Riders vs Lucknow Super Giants match at the IPL. It is known that the side led by Ajinkya Rahane was satisfied with the way the surface was played against Sunrisers Hyderabad and, therefore, demanded the same.
The source near the developments confirmed that, according to IPL guidelines, there must be a seven -day gap, but even if possible, the used pitch would not have been offered. Speaking of the same, he said:
“First, according to IPL guidelines, a seven -day gap is required in terms of using a field from one game to another,” a source said in the KNOW. “But even if you could play on the same pitch, it will never be used for the LSG game. A ground used in this heat is at great risk. PAS No. 4 will be used instead.”
It learns that the pitch to be used for the game of Kolkata Knight Riders vs Lucknow Super Giants will be a bit of nature. It is also expected that the surface will offer a little turn, but nothing drastic. “It will have something for everyone if the players are up to height,” said the source.
KKR won its last IPL 2025 game against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Eden Gardens. They published a total of 200 runs and then grouped the opposition for 120 runs to win the game for 80 runs, marking their second victory in the league.
Shahbaz Ahmed, the BengalĂ who plays LSG in the IPL, spoke of the pitch of the Eden Gardens, saying that the ball will stop here and that there will also be a turn.
“Ball Thoda Rukega Yehan PE (the ball will stop a little here),” he told a pre -match press conference. “There will be a turn. At the same time, it is also possible to score.”
Kolkata Knight Riders would want to follow his good performances and record his third victory. Lucknow Super Giants, meanwhile, has also won two games in 4 games.
