Floribama beach aum Kirk Medas been in hospital with a “serious” case of necrotizing pancreatitis.
“Our friend Kirk has been in the ICU for over two weeks now,” Fellow Floribama beach personality Aimee Elizabeth Hall wrote through Instagram On Thursday, May 1, sharing a hospital picture of her 33 year old Costar. “A breathing machine is currently, and the situation is incredibly serious.”
He added, “Dilsa Been flying back and forth to Miami to be by his side, and I’ve been lucky enough to stay connected through FaceTime with his fellow -countrymen and close friends who have been updating us every day. “
In his own social media post on Thursday, ProWant, 31, revealed that Medas was the first hospital “two Friday ago.” (According to Cleveland Clinic, necrotizing pancreatitis occurs when severe pancreatitis inflammation causes tissue death.)
“It has been in the ICU for about two weeks now, and has a long way to heal,” said Prawant in a video posted to their account. “So, his mother asked me to share this video because she started a GofundMe page for him and for his medical bills and wanted to rehabilitation after he gets out of the ICU. Everything that is given goes directly to his medical bills and recovery.”
Kirk Medas
By the kindness of Aimee Elizabeth Hall/InstagramPrawant further noted that visiting Medas in hospital is “one of the hardest things in (his) life.”
“You know how close me and kirk are. He been there for me For the last eight years of my life (When) I got a graymy baby shower, my marriage, ”he added.” My mother walked down the side. I love Kirk so much, and I love his family so much. I flew down there because I would want someone to do the same for me if I was my son. “
Prawant also promised to give “whatever she is) doing from this post” during this next month to Medas Restoration Fundraiser.
“We’re not going to give too much details,” ProWant continued. “When I saw him, it was one of the hardest things I saw in my life, beside seeing my father in the same situation. So pray for it. He’s going to pull through.
And Gofundme The campaign, set up by Medas relatives, has already raised $ 18,000 at the time of its announcement.
“It has been fascinated and this could take some time to recover. We pray that it has a full recovery but this process could take some time,” the fundraiser description reads. “The donation will help for medical and rehabilitation bills. It has no medical insurance so your gifts will be greatly appreciated. Continue to pick up Kirk in your prayers.”
