King Charles’s Canadian speech does not mention Donald Trump

King Charles received a heartfelt ovation in Canada’s parliament in Ottawa after a historical speech in support of the country, which remains “strong and free”.

Later, outside the Senate building, another voice from the crowd shouted: “Thank you for came to King Charles” a voice full of emotions – as the king himself sounded at the end of his speech.

But what never mentioned was about what it was: US President Donald Trump.

There was a promise “to protect the Canadians and their sovereign rights”, but with a diplomatic opinion, there was no mention of who could threaten the country’s independence.

Not when the speech spoke about the virtues of “open trade” (ie not tariffs) or when they talked about the “critical moment” in which “democracy, pluralism, the rule of law, dedication and freedom” must be protected.
