An invitation was submitted by Donald Trump, 78, by the UK Prime Minister Keir Starmeron behalf of King Charles, 76, during a press conference at the White House on Thursday, February 27.
Starmer, 62, told Trump that the invitation was “unprecedented” and “really special” because it “never happened before,” The Times of London Reporting.
In the letter, which Trump showed the cameras, the king suggested that Trump should go informally with Balmoral Castle or Dumfries House in Scotland, where they would plan the next official state visit, The Times Reporting.
The outlet added that Charles had suggested that Trump’s visit could be a whole -go to the President’s journey to his Turnberry golf course in the west of Scotland.

Previously Trump spent time with the royal family during a state visit in 2019 conducted by the late Queen Elizabeth II.
