Sparks first flew between Burgess (A squeaked marina) and Ruzek (Patrick Flueger) During season 1, Chapter 8, when Ruzek was in another relationship.
“This is complete horses ***,” quoted Ruzek in the episode while crossing a guard duty with Burgess, who insisted he “do it wrong.” Showing the right way to navigate traffic, he said to him, “You get your hips into it … like this.”
Ruzek Had a big smile on his face And responded, “You are kind of full of it, you know that?” Burgess smiled, “am I? Or am I amazing at him.”
By season 2, the coworkers called “Burzek” by fans in a serious relationship and Ruzek popped the question. Later, Burgess called the engagement and refused a second try from him before saying eventually “yes” to Ruzek during season 11. The pair officially said “I do” During the end of season 12.
