Khloé Kardashian and her ex-husband, Odom Lamarwill come face to face in an upcoming episode of The Kardashians.
“I honestly think timing is everything,” Khloé, 40, said in a confessional, aired during a trailer on Friday, January 17, for season 6 of the Hulu docuseries, before she asked sister Kim Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner which he saw in person recently.
Kim, 44, and Kris, 69, were shocked that Khloé was referring to Lamar, 45. (Khloé and Lamar were married between 2009 and 2013.)
“This is crazy,” Kim quipped before Kris tearfully called the NBA alum “the love of (Khloé’s) life.”
Before Kim Kardashian’s 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, there was Khloé Kardashian’s nine-day engagement to Lamar Odom. In another scene, Lamar was seen arriving at Khloé’s home carrying a bouquet of red roses.
“I don’t even know this person anymore,” the Good American founder added in a voiceover. “In this family, there has to be drama.”
She also seemed to be having a heated conversation with Lamar.
“This is the truth,” Khloé announced. “The truth hurts once in a while. A lie hurts many times.”
Khloé married Lamar in September 2009 after one month of datingchronicling their romance soon on a Khloé and Lamar E! docuseries. The reality TV star filed for divorce four years later but shelved her court bid after Lamar was left comatose after overdose in a legal brothel in Nevada. Khloé served as Lamar’s caregiver while he recovered. She re-filed for divorce in May 2016, which was finalized seven months later.
“The reason why I turned to the gym was through my divorce. I didn’t really know what to do,” Khloé retrieve to InStyle in profile 2023. “Of course, in the beginning, you have to get over that hump of being very difficult and something so new to you. But I felt so accomplished. I’m kind of a control freak, but in life we can’t control everything. But the gym, what I put into it, I know I’m going to get out of it. And being in control – I’m proud of it – I love that I have that control.”
He later moved on with Tristan Thompsonwho she dates on and off between 2016 and 2021. They share daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 2.
Khloé’s family life – and her 40th birthday – will be among the stories going forward The Kardashians season 6. The teaser also highlighted Kourtney Kardashian “stepping out of retirement,” sisterly struggles and Kim balancing business endeavors and parenthood with a new love interest.
“I intended to stay single – I was completely lying to you,” Kim said in a confessional. “I’m not dating and don’t want love and attention? I don’t think you know me!”
The Kardashians season 6 premieres Thursday, February 6, on Hulu.
