Teddy Atlas expects Imam Khataev to give David Morrell a “test” on Saturday night in his heavyweight heavyweight struggle of 10 July on July 12 at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. Atlas saw some of the struggles of the 2020 Olympic Bronze Medal and indicate that he has a good chin. It can be able to take the power of Morrell.
Morrell (11-1, 9 kos) returned to the world class competition after his loss to David Benavidez last February. The world-class two divisions, Morrell, does not believe in a weak opposition after that. He wants to demonstrate his wrong doubts and put himself in a position to fight for a world title as quickly as possible. Morrell says he would be open to a resale with Benavidez “100%”.
“I think Morrell does a test here. It may be reduced to the madness of a chin khataev. What I have seen from Khataev is that he has a good chin. I saw him hit by Morrell?” No, “Teddy Atlas said to his canall. “Morrell is a little better than what I have seen it. Morrell’s talent will probably be displayed.”
Khataev’s opposition as a professional has been horrible. Despite its Olympic background, Khataev’s direction has chosen to combine it as a green perspective. What a waste, as Khtaev was 27 years old when he became a professional. This is not young for a person who enters the professional ranks. It should have been quickly followed instead of combining tomato cans for the last four years.
“I think Benavidez’s struggle was a learning experience for David Morrell, who had no experience in terms of record and competition caliber provided by David Benavidez,” said commentator Chris Mannix a Dazn box About the Saturday struggle between David Morrell and Imam Khaev.
Benavidez’s struggle showed Morrell and his coach who cannot be able to throw simple features at a light heavy weight. There are too many fighters focusing on combining how Benvidez, and Morrell cannot afford to launch one at a time, hoping that it can mark a removal. Its power is not the same at 175 which was 168.
“It wasn’t that Morrell was about the struggle. He was competitive for all time and was certainly the best man of 175. David Benavidez is elite,” said Mannix. “I think it will be a better fighter.
Morrell knows that he cannot divert the strings and allow Khataev to unload it with his best power blows as he did against Benavidez. It was a mistake. We saw that Morrell repeatedly did it against the “Mexican monster”.
It allowed Benavidez to get his upper hand by throwing fast combinations and without responding with his own. The big occasional trait that Morrell launched was not enough.
