Key trips from Ukraine negotiations in Washington

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky returned to the White House on Monday to meet with US President Donald Trump for fresh talks aimed at ending the war in Ukraine.

Several European leaders also raised their plans to attend the meeting, a few days after Trump met with Russian President Putin in Alaska at the summit, which could not receive ceasefire.

Given its emergency last visit to the oval office in February, the Ukrainian president went on considerable length to become collegial and charm of his US hosts – including a flurry of six “Thank you” for the first few minutes of the meeting.

“She would like it to end. And she speaks very openly, very proudly and with great sadness, because so many people were killed.”

One of the questions that was about Zelensky is what he will need in the US to guarantee the safety of his country. Was they troops, intelligence, equipment?
