Kerry Yerwood honors Randy Travis in Opry 100: Live Celebration

Kerry Yeurwood The crowd moved to the 100th anniversary of the Great Ole Opi on Wednesday night.

Anerwood took the stage at an event called OPRY 100: a live celebration to honor Randy Travis, who welcomes her member of the Great Ole Ole 17 years ago in 2008.

Anirwood started his tribute to Trevis, sharing the story of childhood. She said that her sister had a tapewood tape, and as soon as she got her hands, she “never” gave her.

Five years later, Trevis had a stroke that made him hardly sing.

On Wednesday night, Anderwood spoke Travis’ “Three Wooden Crosses” and “Forever and Eternal, Amen”.

At the end of “forever and forever, Amen”, Anderwood approached Travis in the crowd and gave him a microphone to sing “Amen”, which moved the crowd to tears.

“Randy Travis is all,” said Anderwood, before hugging the legend of country -music. The crowd immediately stood on his feet and gave Anderwood and Trevis.

The fans went to social media to weigh the moving performance.

“I don’t pay what you are,” – wrote one user on x, Previously known as Twitter, while including a video of Anderwood and Travis.

17 years ago, Grand Ole Opry shared a message about Travis, who introduced Anderwood into the family.

“We will never forget the moment when Randy invited Carey to the family,” the account, including a photo of 2008, said.

Anerwood rose to glory after the victory of “American Idol” in 2005. Her debut album “Some Hearts” came out the same year and turned on the hit “Before he is cheating”.

Anirwood attended a country music ceremony in a gorgeous black dress. Below the dress was clean and had a dramatic train.
