Kelly Stafford’s children were ‘selected’ over Matt Stafford Trade Rumors

Kelly Stafford becomes real about how viral rumors about her husband Matt StaffordAn NFL career has affected their family.

“Matthew’s speculation of (is) was being traded this last year,” Kelly, 36, said on the episode on Sunday, August 31, of the “Sunday Sports Club” podcast. “(There were rumors) that ‘his wife was the problem,’ and that is part of the reason.

Kelly and Matt, 37, share Sawyer and Chandler twins, both at 8, daughter of Hunter, 7, and her daughter Tyler, 5. Before the upcoming NFL 2025-2026 season, rumors turned that the Los Angeles Rams was planning to trade the quarterback to another team.

“My daughters came home and they are, ‘Mum, do we have to move because of you?’ I was like, ‘because of me?’ ”Kelly remembered the host podcast Allison Kuch. “I was, like, ‘what’s the f ***?’ It wasn’t the Rams. ”

“It’s all fun, and every year I’m looking forward to another season,” said Kelly. “Every year, I pray it is a healthy season.”

During many Matt home games, Kelly and the girls are watching from a private room at Los Angeles Sofi Stadium.

“I’m stressed about it,” he admitted. “It’s a lot, and they are all East Coast games. We play all the Eastern Coast Teams.”

As well as coordinating game day schedules, Kelly is already planning the family’s costumes.

“I always say to myself, ‘This is his last year, (so) I’m going to have some fun,” said Kelly. “I don’t do, like those-is-is designer, but I’m doing the fun ‘Stafford’ on the back and really for the girls. They can get those, and I save all these things so they can give them to their kids. Not that they’re going to want a denim jacket (face at a) denim with painting on the back.
