Kelly Stafford and her husband, NFL Quarterback Matt Stafford“very blessed” with their life – but they do not want their financial situation to affect their children’s upbringing.
“I’m very wonderful, obviously, an amazing man who supports me without a -stop… to be able to do some things and afford some luxuries,” said Kelly, 36, on the episode on Sunday, August 31, of the “Sunday Sports Club” podcast. “At the end of the day, I still want to prove to myself that I and my children need nothing.”
He added, “I’m like, ‘Listen, you’re not going to grow up ruined rotten brows. I won’t pick up that. I can’t do it.’ It’s hard because it might be easy to get whatever they wanted. ”
Kelly and The Los Angeles Rams Quarterback, 37, are parents To Sawyer and Chandler twins, both at 8, daughter of Hunter, 7, and daughter of Tyler, 5. The Staffords moved their nest from Detroit, Michigan, to La in 2021 after Matt was traded from the Lions to the Rams. (Matt and Kelly have been married since 2015, after they started dating at college.)
While Matt and Kelly’s daughters grow up in the bright Hollywood lights, they try to teach them humility lessons.
“(If they want something, I’m like,) ‘Go f *** work on the corner (a) put a lemonade stand out. Make a little money,’” Kelly quoted a podcast host Allison Kuch. “If you want to buy something, I will support you. How much money these children make on lemonade stands in this neighborhood? People will drive past and give $ 100, like, ‘a good job with the sign.’
Whenever Kelly’s children raise an overwhelming amount of money in their lemonade stands, she moves a handful of profit to her “bank accounts.”

While Kelly and Matt try Keep their children humbleThey finish splaging on some items – especially during the NFL season.
“We paid like *** tons for it,” Kelly said on the episode on Sunday for the Stafford Custom Fire The children dress for Matt’s football games. “That is somehow saved.”
Kelly brings her children to many rams Fatchups every season, sitting in a private room during home games at SOFI Stadium and on the sideline in away games.
“I take them as *** tons this year,” Kelly noted. “I’m stressed about it. It’s a lot, and they’re all east coastal games. We play all the East Coast teams.”
