Kelly Stafford responded after a misconduct investigation into their podcast “The Morning After” Cohost Hank Winchester expired without any charges filed.
“The investigation ended right where, nowhere,” wrote Stafford, 36, through Instagram on Friday, August 15.
Stafford warmly referred to Winchester, 51, as “my guy” and suggested he return to “The Morning After” next week, provocative: “See y’all Monday.”

Winchester’s statement went on, “I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has shown tremendous support for me, especially my family and friends. The messages from so many of you helped me through this incredibly difficult time.”
Stafford became friends with Winchester when her husband Matthew Stafford was a quarterback of the Detroit Lions between 2009 and 2020. The journalist and Kelly launched a “The Morning After” podcast in 2021.
