Simu Liu was a two -day guest before Clarkson returned. Hiatus took another short and Roy Wood Jr., Wanda Sykes, Brooke Shields, Molly Sims and Willie Geist in.
At the time, it was widely reported that Clarkson’s absence from the show was due to personal issue. No further details have been disclosed.

Months after her Absent Talking Show, Clarkson took to Instagram and announced that she must Defer her Las Vegas residency.
“We’ve been working 24/7 to do studio sessions the most intimate and unusual experience with and for my amazing fans,” he shared in a social media statement. “I am beyond grateful that you always show me and it is clear that I have had to postpone tonight and an opening tomorrow at Caesars. The Prep and the exercises have taken a doll on my voice.”
The show “Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions – Las Vegas Residency” set for 18 performances Starting on July 4 and ending on November 15.
“I want the shows to be perfect for Y’all and I need to protect myself from doing serious damage so I’m taking this weekend and next week to rest so we can achieve what you all deserve. The show is truly amazing,” he added. “The musicians and singers are excellent, and I want us all to start strongly. I can’t wait to be back next weekend and show you what we’ve been working on.”
