Kelly Clarkson Has removed the plug on her Las Vegas residence on the 11th hour, delaying the opening until a later date to defend her voice.
The singer made “since you went”, 43, the announcement with a statement shared through her Instagram account on Friday, July 4.
“We’ve been working 24/7 to do studio sessions the most intimate and unusual experience with and for my amazing fans,” Clarkson explained in the statement. “I am beyond grateful that you always show me and I am hooked to have to postpone tonight and an opening tomorrow at Caesars. The Prep and Exercises have taken toll My voice. “
The post continued: “I want the shows to be perfect for Y’all and I need to protect myself from serious damage so I’m taking this weekend and next week to rest so we can achieve what you all deserve. The show is truly amazing. The musicians and singers are excellent, and I want us all to start strongly.
Clarkson was due to start his “Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions – Las Vegas Residency” at Caesars Palace on Friday, July 4. A total of 18 performances were organized until November 15.
The announcement drew mixed responses from her social media fans, with some concern for her health while others expressed their disappointment on the last minute notice.

Another wrote, “I’m a huge fan I flew from Boston spending thousands on tickets and hotels to see your show tomorrow for my 40th birthday. I really want you to be healthy but canceling this late has such a huge financial impact on your loyal fans 😭”
Echoing a similar feeling, another follower said, “I wish you would have done this sooner than 15 minutes before the doors open. Hopefully you will feel better.”
The first Vegas residency was announced back in February through a press release.
“I’m so excited to be back in Vegas!” Clarkson said by a statement at the time. “We are bringing the studio to the stage this time with ‘Studio sessions!’ See y’all there! ”
