Clarkson, 43, said she was trying to be there for her children, River Rose, 10, and Remy, 9-which she shares with her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock – as much as possible, but it is difficult at times.
“I’m running from my show to practice baseball and I’m trying to be, like, there,” he told Bush Hager, 43, and the Cohost Hotels Matt Rogers. “It’s a lot. My mother will tell me, ‘Look, I was a single mother. I didn’t do (it i) everything. They’re going to be fine. You turned out right.’

Clarkson added that her family is a “cute small unit,” but she is definitely trying to prioritize herself in this season of life.
“I’m trying an adult more. So for Mother’s Day weekend I have a couple of shows, but my kids don’t come. So I have to be an adult with my band, have drinks and have adult time,” he said.
The singer “Sising You Been Gone” is expected to start her Las Vegas residency this summer at Caesars Palace – and is about to be his sexiest show yet. (It will run between July 4 and November 15, with 18 scheduled performances.) When discussing the music video for “Where have you been,” Clarkson admitted that she wanted her to look to feel silly and she finally had to have their say in her wardrobe.
“Look, I lost some weight and I was like, ‘You put me in something fit!’ ‘Because I don’t know how long this will last,’ he said, laughing. “To be honest, I’ve had a lot of people in my career very cruel and say, like, ‘Oh, you look slutty if you’re wearing this. Clarkson said the song was inspired by a scene in season 3 of Murders in the building only between Meryl StreepCharacter, loretta, and Short martin‘s Oliver.
“Everything that was a (short) face when he said, ‘Where you were,’ had killed me,” Clarkson said for the moment. “I continued to re -watch because it was so beautiful and then I took it to another place and wrote a song about it.”
