Trends have a way of cycling back around, but there are some fads the stars want to leave behind in 2024.
“The catsuit is here to stay,” RHONY alum Kelly Bensimon say Us Weekly exclusively at iHeartRadio’s Z100 Jingle Ball in New York City on December 13. “I saw that on Alix Earle and I was like, ‘I like that.'”
Bensimon, 56, continued: “I wore that in the early 90s. I mean, I’m a little older than Alix. I don’t know if I’m going to be doing the Catwoman costume.”
The catsuit is not the only trend returning to the pop culture world. Skinny jeans and low rise jeans have caused quite a stir, with Bensimon, Bachelor Nation’s Ashley Iaconetti a ROCK alum Meghan King all sharing conflicting views on the controversial denim fits.
To read the reality, the stars of the world look at fashion trends, as well as what music stars like Dasha a Alex Warren want to leave in 2024 as we enter the new year, watch the exclusive video above or keep scrolling:
You know, I love skinny jeans. I’ve always loved skinny jeans. My girls are like, “Mom, he’s never coming back.” You know, I said, I was like, “Bringing back the skinny jeans is like doing Real Housewives of New York is a thing.” And I love skinny jeans, and I want them to be a thing, they just aren’t a thing. But hopefully they will be a thing. So, in the spirit of skinny jeans, let’s come Real Housewives to, like, the real deal, and we’re going to be smokin’ hot for 2025.
I mean, really, skinny jeans are the only jeans that make you look like a smoke show. It’s nice to wear bigger jeans, but if you want to be a smoking hot girl, you wear skinny jeans or leggings. Sorry, I like leggings too.
It’s not so much a trend from 2024 that I want to leave behind, but I want to make sure that skinny jeans never come back. I really hate them. I hated them when they were popular for, like, 15 years, and I know some people are trying to get them to come back. No.
Oh, the low rise jeans, I tried them on. And unfortunately for me, I tried them two months after giving birth, and I regretted it straight away. And I think even if I wasn’t two months postpartum, I would have been like, not at all.
Trends to leave behind in 2024, I would say, I don’t know, low rise jeans. I want them up high. That’s where they belong.
Any trend I want to leave behind? Just hating on people for no reason. If it doesn’t directly affect your life, don’t say anything about it. I think it’s annoying. Be nice. It’s not that hard. God.
Actually, the thing I’m trying to get rid of is when people are driving in the left lane, it’s a fast lane. Go fast, and if you’re not going fast, move over! You know? I feel that is proper etiquette. I would like to leave that behind.
Dating guys who are uglier than you. That’s a trend I’d like to leave behind.
