Katie Thurston opens for the different routes she and a husband Jeff Arches Having discussed expanding their family after their breast cancer battle was treated.
Thurston, 34, shared a photo of a social media exchange through her Instagram stories on Wednesday, April 2, where she was asked how she can “afford Surrogacy.” (The former Bachelorette said previously in post last month Possibly carrier may be its best option to have a baby after having chemotherapy.)

Thurston was Been diagnosed with phase 3 breast cancer in February. Knowing that she would need chemo and additional surgeries to treat the tumors, she and Arcuri, 36, chose to make a round of in vitro fertilization (IVF) first to retain fertility.
“It raises the risk you will be able to conceive. And so we (know) we wanted children in the future. We thought, ‘Okay, well let’s do IVF just to get that option,’” said Thurston alone Weekly US in March. “We consecrated two weeks before doing anything else wise when it comes to breast cancer to do IVF.”
After making “only 10 days of shots,” Thurston and Arcuri restored 17 eggs and six became fertilized embryos in RMA from New York. Only two were viable.

Before Thurston began her treatment, Arcuri married following their 2024 engagement.

Arcuri also believed it was important to marry Thurston before she started Chemo.
