The verdict is: no denny spirits of Gray anatomy awkwardly and “confused for everyone.” Just ask Katherine Heol and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
“It’s funny because I don’t remember much of that season because just … I don’t know anyone thinks that worked when we were doing it,” Morgan, 58, have said Entertainment weekly In a joint interview with his former star published on Friday, March 28.
He added that it was sure that enough fans had “fulfilled wishes” out of the plot, but admitted he was “awkward.”
“I imagine it was to give fans a little of this fulfillment to the fans, but yes, it was awkward – not the scenes, but the concept,” he said.
“She could never acknowledge me,” explained how heelged character Izzie Stephens interacted with Denny after he died on the show. “And I remember that I was shouting at her while everyone else gave her doctor information. And he threw everyone away.”
He also admitted that there was one scene specifically between the two actors she never wants to see again.
“There is one specific scene that I will never watch with my children. I don’t care how old they are. I don’t care if they are 60, I don’t watch this with them,” he explained. “And it was a scene where you’re in the room, but I’m trying to be like, ‘you’re not here, you’re not here.’ And Alex (Justin Chambers) And Izzie starts playing around and he goes down on her. And you stand there alone. And I was just kind of at the time, ‘This is what the money is, right?’ “
The episodes “Ghost Denny” were a big part of the fifth of the show. The character of an illustration, who was unknowingly for a tumor on the brain at the time, began to see the hallucinations of her former fiancée, played by Morgan.
Despite the awkward nature of filming the scenes, Morgan added that he was pleased to be back on the show after the death of his character in the end of season 2.
“But it was great to be back, I’ll say that,” he explained. “The work is always great. It’s as Katie said, I don’t know that the story was adhered to. It was a difficult one for the spectators because it’s so kind of kingdom Gray anatomy. And I think by the time we … started broadcasting while we were still shooting the story, and we knew that the response of the audience was not so exciting about it, ‘What? She sees a dead guy? What is the f— happens? ‘”
A clue felt the same way. “For me, I loved Izzie and I wanted her to have that with Denny. And so part of me I loved and wanted to do it, and wanted to see her get that, even if it was just a fantasy,” he explained. “But yes, because it was this supernatural attitude, as you say, it wasn’t necessarily in the world Gray anatomy. “
