Kate Martin of Wnba compares the style of Las Vegas Aces and Valkyries

In December 2024, Martin was raised by the Golden State Valkyries as part of the WNBA expansion draft. (The newest team in the league filled his opening roster by drafting unprotected players from the rest of the WNBA, as well as signing several athlete from foreign teams.)

While some players who really lean into the experience of dressing up before games – including her former Aces team A’ja Wilson and the fellow of current Valkyries team Tiffany hayes – Martin was delighted to find that not everyone puts a ton of emphasis on their game day fits.
