Kate Gosselin Opens for fertility, pregnancy and birth in a six -part Tiktok series, revealing that she experienced her own pregnancy loss after learning that she was pregnant with multiple fetuses.
“We had our first ultrasound after six weeks and there were seven babies,” Gosselin, 50, Divided by Tiktok On Wednesday, September 3, in the fourth of six videos discussing it at times controversial a reproductive journey.
“I think they came back next week – either the next week or two weeks, I can’t remember honestly – see how they had moved on,” he continued. “Between that time, the seventh baby stopped growing.”
Famously, Gosselin became pregnant who gave birth to six babies in 2004, going on starring on the TLC reality television series Jon & Kate Plus 8 alongside her husband at the time, Jon GosselinTheir six -new – Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel and Leah – and their twins, Cara and Mady. (Jon and Kate divorced in 2009 after 10 years of marriage.)
Kate suffers from polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), a chronic health condition that can make it difficult or even impossible to conceive without medical interference, per Mayo clinic. The former TV -TV reality conceived its twins and sextuplets through various fertility treatments, including intrauterine fertilization (IUI).
“Along the way there was another crisis-except for kidney stones, apart from the ovaries induced by hyper before that-another crisis, at some point I started bleeding,” he continued in the video. “I, of course, thought this was the start of a misconception (AM) I lost them all.”

Kate explained that when she was back in the emergency room, she was “waiting on pins and needles” to learn the fate of her pregnancy, adding that the ultrasound technology in “Kinda shaded us” from seeing the pictures.
“At some point, she was very quiet and I thought,” We’re going, it’s being done, ‘and I was really scared, “he added.” Suddenly, he said, ‘I see six. ‘And I said,’ You see six things?! ‘ And she said, ‘I see six heartbeats, they’re there.’ “
While Kate was far too early in her pregnancy for any of the fetus to be revealed, she later posted in the comments section that she “always thought” that the seventh fetus would have been a girl if she had carried the pregnancy of her multiples to a season.
“Emma would be her name,” she added.
Despite the loss, Kate said, learning that the other six fetuses were still viable, has become “committed to these babies” and whatever it took to maintain her pregnancy.
“From that point on, I was in it,” he remembered. “I was going to fight for them. I was going to do anyway. Not that I wasn’t before, but just the fact that it was hung, I was threatened to lose them, it made me realize how much I already loved. So that was a very miraculous.”
According to the reality star, all of his six newborns were born two months before their due dates and delivered within a three-minute span. Kate failed to meet her six children until half a day after they were born.
“Family members had already seen them, and I felt like the last to see them,” he said. “I understand that I was in a huge improvement, I really had no muscle tone. I could walk to the bathroom, which may be 10 feet (off), but that was all the walk I had done for months.”
