In terms of playing challenging roles in their new film Duplicatecosttar Cat Graham and Meagan Tandy had each other’s backs.
“It could have been a very isolated experience for any actor,” said Graham, 35, Weekly US on Tuesday, March 18, of his role as Marley in the Tyler perry Drama. “I credited Meagan… because (if) she wasn’t as amazing of a person as she was, and not only all about her feeling so comfortable and love, I don’t know how anyone could righteous, you know.”
In the acting excitement film, Graham’s Marley, a powerful attorney, is tasked with taking up her most personal case yet when she is asked to reveal the truth behind shooting her best friend fela (Tandy), Rodney (Rodney (Rodney (RodneyJoshua Adeyeye).
Graham said Us That might consider the “topics we include in this film,” making the film “to have been a very difficult experience” except Tandy’s support and ability to create a safe environment for everyone on a set.
“It’s a very rare thing,” he continued. “Many actors can be very selfish on sets… (a) Just focus on themselves. And that wasn’t the case. So I got, I felt, very lucky about that.”
The feeling was mutual between the two trappers – especially when they were tackling their more emotional scenes.
”We are all, really, very lucky that we have to have each other,” said Tandy, 39, Us. “And the personalities we really have – we were both inherent, alone, connected at this level. The experience did much better.”
The pair’s ability to support each other also influenced a set. At attending the premiere of the film in New York City on Wednesday, March 19, a Cast -Member RonreacoE. Us The chemistry on a set was “really great.”

“I don’t think we realize (d) how well we came on until after the fact,” the Sister sister Alum, 48, explained. “We didn’t really have a chance to kick him, but honestly, making the press, as, I realize now – we all had a great chemistry.”
Lee went on to Gush for Graham and Tandy.
“I really enjoyed Meagan Tandy,” he said. “I worked with (hi) on a show called Survivors and more So I knew her … and Kat, I knew about Kat, but (blown away by her ability. ”
As well as leaning on each other and their fellow -Casters, Graham and Tandy also relyed on other methods to keep themselves calm, cool and collected throughout the filming, whether it worked through an emotionally challenging scene or suffered from one of the film’s necessary water stunts.
“For me, personally… I’m still on my faith,” explained Tandy. “Without that I wouldn’t be turbated. So I have to be rained in something outside myself. And I’m also really, I love giving back. I have my own base and take the focus off myself and put it on others and help them – that kind of things help keep my zen.”
“And my dog,” he added, “who I just love. I miss him so much. My little fur baby.”
Graham, for her part, said she relied on “water and meditation,” adding that he also helped focus on “loved ones at home.”
Graham repeated, “But to be honest, as, with this kind of film, because we worked very quickly, Meagan, for me… (she) made me feel very emotionally safe.”
Armed with their best off-screen self-enactment methods and friendship behind the camera that appears in iron that translated on screen, no wonder Us that Graham and Tandy have found a way to enjoy even the most physically challenging stunts for the film.
“I think with the stunts, that we kind of both jumped in the head first,” explained Graham. “And we were really excited, like that, I think, prepared you mentally.”
“I love making stunts,” added Tandy.
