Kamindu Mendis was appointed emerging cricket player from ICC 2024

Sri Lanka’s baptism, Kamindu Mendis, has become the best men’s cricket player in 2024 the ICC after excellent performances with the BAT. Mendis returned to the test cricket by 2024, as he had only played one test before this year.

However, the young man was very constant and demonstrated his worth in various conditions. He was bright against the turns in the series of tests played in Bangladesh and then also impressed England, where he was constantly tested with the moving ball.
