Juventus has rejected Thiago Motta as manager and named Igor Tudor as his successor.
The decision follows the strong defeats in Series A, and Juventus suffered a 4-0 defeat at home in Atalanta and a 3-0 defeat against Fiorentina.
These disappointing results have left the club fifth, passing the League leaders to 12 points.
In addition, Juventus supported an unexpected departure from the Champions League in February after falling to PSV Eindhoven in the Play-off round.
His hopes for Coppa Italia were also erased shortly after, as they were eliminated by Empoli in the quarterfinals after a penalty shot.
A Sunday club statement confirmed the management change: “Juventus FC announces that Thiago Motta has relieved his position as first men’s team coach.

“Juventus FC also announces that he has entrusted the leadership of the first men’s team to Igor Tudor, who will direct the first training session tomorrow.”
Motta, who took over Juventus in June in a three -year agreement, had previously taken Bologna to the champion league rating.
His term in Juve included an uninitive streak of 21 games in the league, but with 13 of these games that finished the draws, his side never really fought for the title.
The recent poor chain of results turned out to be the rupture point, frustrating both the fans and the club officials.
During his time at the helm, Motta took a firm position on the decisions of the squad. Federico Chiesa, for example, was informed that he was not part of the manager’s long -term plans and later changed to Liverpool last August.
Tudor, 46, is a former Juventus player and Croatian international, who last managed Lazio.
His previous experience with Juventus includes serving as the assistant coach of Andrea Pirlo in the 2020 season. He will take care of his first game as new Juve manager when the team faces Genoa on Saturday.
