Justin Baldoni Studio Sues Blake Lively, Reynolds, Rep. for $400 million

Justin Baldoni‘s studio filed a new lawsuit against him It Ends With Us costar Blake Lively and its publisher, Leslie Sloane, seeking damages of $400 million.

TMZ reported that the documents contained emails between Baldoni and Lively before filming began, with Baldoni claiming “heartfelt gratitude” to Lively for the preparation but believing she would try to gain control.

Baldoni claimed that Lively had not read It Ends With Us. The lawsuit reads, “she even tried to Google her character’s hair color instead of picking up the book.”

With this filing, we are lifting our own curtain on what happens when the entitled wield power, fear and money to destroy, intimidate and bully those who violate their way.”

Freedman previously confirmed on January 2 that Baldoni would sue Lively.

“Absolutely… yes,” Freedman told NBC News. “We intend to release every single text message between the two of them. We want the truth to be out there. We want the documents to be out there. We want people to make their decision based on receipts.”

Baldoni, 40, previously filed a lawsuit against The New York Times for libel and false light disturbing privacy. The film’s director accused the newspaper of “picking” messages between him and Lively which omitted context to publish their report in his favour.
