Baldoni’s new back $400 million lawsuits obtained by Us Weekly on Thursday, January 16, Lively allegedly “incited other cast members to ignore Baldoni, in an early attempt to give fans the impression that Baldoni had committed a heinous sin.”
Court documents said that Lively, her husband, Ryan Reynoldsa It Ends With Us author Colleen Hoover all unfollowed Baldoni on social media.
“Other cast members also stopped following Baldoni, creating the false impression that Baldoni had done something wrong,” the documents claimed.
“The unfollowing of Baldoni by cast members and even the author of the book, with whom he had a longstanding relationship, was done without warning or any communication from them,” the lawsuit claims, “in stark contrast with the warm and kind praise and appreciation. the members until then always showered on it.”
Baldoni’s team went on to quote text messages allegedly from a cast member Isabella Ferrer who wrote: “Thanks for being a great director and being so great to work with already.”
In December 2024, Lively first accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and organize a smear campaign against her.
In the complaint obtained by Us, Allegedly lively that Baldoni created a “hostile work environment” and caused her “severe emotional distress.”

After the New York Times published an article outlining Lively’s claims, the actress received support on social media from cast members including Brandon Sklenar a Jenny Slate as well as Hoover, who also served as an executive producer.
“Blake Lively has been honest, kind, supportive and patient since the day we met,” Hoover wrote via her Instagram Story in December 2024. “Thank you for being the man you are. Never change. Never withers.”
In a second statement, Hoover declared that “Blake’s ability to refuse to sit down and ‘get buried’ has been nothing short of inspiring.”
Following Baldoni’s lawsuit against Lively, his attorney released a statement to Us declaring the suit “a legal action based on an overwhelming amount of undisputed evidence detailing a duplicitous attempt by Blake Lively and her team to destroy Justin Baldoni, his team and their respective companies by disseminating new information and severely doctored, unproven for the media. “
The statement continued, “It is clear based on our own willingness to provide all the complete text messages, emails, video footage and other documentary evidence shared between the parties in real time, that this is a fight that will not she wins it and will certainly regret it. Blake Lively was either seriously misled by her team or willfully and willfully misrepresented the truth.”
“Ms. Never again will Lively be allowed to continue to exploit genuine victims of harassment solely to gain her personal reputation at the expense of the powerless,” the statement read. “Let’s not forget, Ms. Lively and her team ruined reputations and livelihoods for horribly selfish reasons by dangerously manipulating the media themselves before even taking any real legal action. We know the truth, and now the public does too. Justin and his team have nothing to hide, documents don’t lie.”
Us reached out to Lively’s rep for comment on the lawsuit.
