Nip/tuck and Charming star Julian McMahon Died. It was 56.
Julian’s wife, Kelly McMahonHe confirmed his death on Friday, July 4, following a private battle with cancer.
“With an open heart, I would like to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a powerful effort to overcome cancer,” Kelly told Close in a statement. “Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy to as many lives as possible. We ask for support during this time to allow our family to mourn in privacy.
McMahon was best known for playing Dr. Christian Troy on Ryan Murphy’s Fx Hit Series Nip/tuck Between 2003 and 2010, a role that landed Golden Globe’s nomination. He also starred on shows mind Charmed, FBI: Most Wanted, Marvel’s Runaways and appeared as Dr. Doom in two Fantastic Four movie: 2005’s Fantastic Four and 2007’s Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
