Just in time for Christmas, Jude Law gives its character of ‘The Holidays’ some love.
The 2006 Christmas film was written and directed by Nancy Myers and ser Law, 51, side by side Cameron Diaz, Black Jack a Kate Winslet.
Myers, 75, caught up with Law over lunch after the actor received a major career milestone – a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, California. Meyers shared a video of Law on social media, in which the two teased a return to the holiday classic.
“Congratulations Jude! ⭐️,” Myers captioned a video share via Instagram on Thursday, December 12.” “I was delighted to be at lunch for Jude today and I had one question for him….”
In the clip shared from the celebratory dinner, Meyers pans slowly over a white tablecloth for Law sitting across from her. The two sat side by side between a dessert parfait and a glass of champagne, with Law dressed in a beige suit.
“Look who I’m having lunch with today,” he said in the video. “Congratulations on your well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. That’s amazing.”
Law received the prestigious honor with two of his children, Rafferty, 28, and Iris, 24, and his wife Phillipa Coan, present during the ceremony on Thursday.
“Thank you, Nancy,” Law said in return. “It’s so lovely to see you.” Myers then said how long it had been since the two had seen each other.
“It’s so great to see you,” he said. “I don’t think I’ve seen you since we wrapped up The Holidays.“
Myers then began asking about a possible sequel to the acclaimed film, saying, “Speaking of which, I’ve seen you do a lot of interviews, and they keep asking if there’s going to be a sequel, what are you think it?”
Law sighed before repeating his question, saying, “Will there be a sequel?” The Young Pope then the star picked up a white cloth napkin, and placed it on top of his head, and then placed glasses over the napkins.
The British star was referring to a scene from the film where Law’s character pretends to be a character called “Mr. Napkin Head” to entertain his children.
Myers continued to tease a sequel by responding to his antics, “Is that it, Jude?”
This earned a response from fans of The Holidays who was excited about the possibility of a second film.
“I really can’t handle this,” one person wrote in the comments, while another said, “This is not funny Nancy!!! You better not mess with us!
