The fourth game of the SA20 2025 tournament will be seen Joburg Super Kings to face MI Cape Town at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday 11 January.
This will be the first game of the season for the experienced Super Kings Faf du Plessis leading the team. MI Cape Town, captained by Rashid Khanwill be playing his second match after scoring a dominant 97-run victory Sunrisers Eastern Cape in its opener.
The pitch at the New Wanderers Stadium is known as a batsman’s haven, often producing high-scoring matches. Its consistent bounce and pace provide ideal conditions for hitters to execute their shots with precision. Although the surface favors batting a lot, skilled bowlers can still make an impact with well-executed deliveries. Historically, chasing teams have been more successful, giving them an advantage in pursuit of goals. Consequently, captains who win the toss may prefer to bat first, aiming to set up a formidable score.
