Josh Padley faces Serbian Marko Cvetanovic in a ten -round contest for the Lightweight International Title of WBA on April 19, Live in Dazn At Park Community Arena of Sheffield, England.
Padley-Cvetanovic will fight in the outskirts of Dalton Smith vs. Mathieu Germain for this event. Given the lower placement, it is not expected to be a competitive struggle. Of course, with Padley’s lack of power, a closely struggled struggle cannot be ruled out from the beginning to the end. You can wait for Cvetanovic to go to Padley’s body because it is where he showed himself vulnerable in his last struggle.
Matchroom debut
This is the first of a multifunction contract padley (15-1, 4 kos) recently signed with the boxing room of Eddie Hearn’s coincidences after his play effort, losing to the Light WBC champion, Shakur Stevenson, for a ninth round on February 22 in Riyadyh, Saudi Arabia.
Padley was recruited by Hearn as a Shakur replacement rival after the initially scheduled boy, Floyd Schofield, left. The Four-year-old (13-0, 6 kos) CVE Marko Cvetanovic has a significant name in its resume, the traveler Viorel Simion, who has fought against many well-known fighters during his career. Light limits
Padley’s lack of power makes it difficult for him to combine any of the great punches or smooth fighters of the light division. You cannot match it with the tastes of Abdullah Mason, Raymond Matalla or Edwin de los Santos and wait for it to reach the fourth round. Hearn can choose target fighters such as Denys Berinchyk, Maxi Hughes or Joe Cordina as Padley options. Putting it with Jadier Herrera, 22, would be a bad idea.
