Family Johnny Gaureau celebrate the birth of his son, CartSeven months after a NHL star was killed.
Johnny’s wife, Meredith Gaureaupublish She had given birth to the couple’s third baby on Monday, April 7.
“Another little boy 🥹💙,” Meredith shared by Instagramalongside a carousel of pictures of the child’s first few days. “Carter Michael Gaureau – the same middle name as his father. 8 lbs 3 ounces, 20.5 inches – exactly the same with his father. He looks just like his father too.”
Meredith added, “I love you so much my baby! We’re going to have so much fun. I can’t wait to give you the best life, my special boy forever.”
Johnny and his brother, Matthew Gaureauwere killed in August 2024, after being Hit by an alleged drunken driver While riding bikes in the township of Oldmans, New Jersey. Johnny was 31, while Matthew was 29.
Meredith and Johnny also share a girl Indefinite2, and Johnny13 months.
Katie GaureauThe youngest sister of Johnny who was supposed to marry the day after he was killed, responding enthusiastically to the family’s newest addition.
“John’s Perfect Family,” shared Katie through Instagram Story alongside a picture of Meredith and her three children. Katie posted another picture of the four and wrote, “John and Mers Perfect Babies.”
In a separate post, Katie Carter called “Our 2nd piece of heaven” which had been “properly delivered to us by John 🤍.”
In December 2024, Matthew’s wife, Madeline Gaureau. gave birth to their first babyson Trip.
Madeline celebrated the arrival of Carter through her Instagram story, sharing a picture of Meredith holding him in hospital and heading, “My second nephew 🤍💙Trips best friend.”
TRIPP made his first appearance in official social media on Sunday, April 6, when Madeline posted pictures of his face for the first time.
Madeline took a tripp to a game of Omaha Lancers the Ushl, where Matthew was being honored on Saturday, April 5. Matthew played over 100 games for the team between 2011 and 2013.
Katie was present for the ceremony, where he marveled at the strength of his sister-in-law Madeline-law-and gave a special shout at his nephew, Tripp.
“Could celebrate how amazing you are both every weekend,” Katie shared by Instagram on Sunday. “Thank you for a weekend in Omaha celebrating our favorite Lancer.” Also … everyone tells her to my handsome nephew who looks just like his father. “
Katie added, “I hope these weekends of hockey and honor you do not end up ending. The greatest love forever.”
