Hollywood bowl Grease There was an automatic, systematic, hydromatic and grease-and-hir event-thanks to a very special Gameo from a movie star John Travolta.
“Tonight at the Hollywood Bowl, for the first time I surprised everyone at the Grease Sing-and-hir and dress up like Danny Zuko, ”Travolta, 71, wrote through Instagram on Friday, June 27. “No one knew. Not even the cast. Thanks for a great evening.”
To enter a character, Travolta was wearing a black t-shirt under a leather jacket that matches with a pair of dark fitting jeans. He also wore a blond wig, styled as Danny’s famous pompadour. (Of course, Danny Travolta had jet-du locks in the movie adaptation.)
“That’s cool, that’s cool,” Travolta quoted on stage, quoting Danny’s di -glem comments to Sandy (Olivia Newton-John) After discovering she moved to town. “You know, (I’m) rocking and rolling.”
The rest of the OG birds joined Travolta on stage.
“Are you ready to (sing) together?” He asked, leading the audience in the chant “we go together”. “Shoo-Wop-Sha-Wada-Wahada-Yippidy Boom-da-Boom. Enjoy the show, we love you!”

Custody? Danny never told Goody-Two-Shoes Sandy for his less than angelic glique.
“I really got the mind, ‘one day when they make the movie, I might be able to play Danny,’” Travolta remembered Yahoo! Entertain In 2019, noting that it was first drawn in by the stage show. “I knew that character as the back of my hand. I knew what worked, and I knew what he didn’t work.”
He added, “I knew what was funny, and I knew what wasn’t funny. I knew what it looked cool, in movies. I knew how to comb my hair, how to cause and how to be cool, because all I could do as the other character (Doody) was to watch the coolest character – Danny – for a year.”

“My dear Olivia, you made all our lives so much better,” Travolta wrote through Instagram at the time. “Your impact was amazing. I love you so much. We’ll see you down the road and we’ll all be together again. Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever! Your Danny, your John!”
