Caitlin McHugh joked why she thought her marriage to John Stamos continues to be so strong.
“There’s a lot of communication and good stuff,” said McHugh, 38 Fox News in an interview published on Tuesday, December 31. “But really, I wonder if it’s just that he’s gone through everyone else already. I was the last one.”
The couple, who share 6-year-old son Billy, married in 2018. They will celebrate seven years of marriage in February 2025.
“Well I guess it’s been a long time in Hollywood,” she shared in her latest interview. “Not in real life, but we spend a lot of time together.”
Before settling down with McHugh, Stamos, 61, was married Rebecca Romijn from 1998 to 2004. Him write about their relationship in his most popular biography If You Had Told Me.
Stamos was also previously linked Paula Abdul, Denise Richards a Terry Copley.
These days, Stamos enjoys spending time at the Disneyland Resort with his family. The actor has also been able to see his son showing signs of having the entertainment bug.
“He’s in dance class,” McHugh shared when discussing her son’s latest milestones. “He had his first recital last summer and is a ham and a half just like his father. That hasn’t fallen far from the tree at all. He loves making other children laugh.”
At just six years old, Billy has also found himself popular with the girls in his children’s group.
“He’s got all these girl crushes on him,” McHugh – who stars The Invisible Birds of Prey – said while laughing. “He can’t help it. It’s just who he is. But unlike us, he is also more athletic. He has a basketball team and he likes to do sports things and we don’t understand all that but we’re supportive of whatever he chooses to be interested in and luckily – for better or for worse – entertaining is part of it.”
Before that Stamos himself talked about his life as a father. Away from the lights, the A Fuller House alum said there is nothing better than enjoying quality time with those who matter most.
“I love family time. We try to do things, the three of us, a lot,” Stamos said Us Weekly in September 2022. “There’s a shopping center up here (in Los Angeles) called The Commons. We like going there. We see the turtles, we have lunch and then we get our ice cream. We sit and talk and eat ice cream cones. I like to do that. It’s pretty special.”
