John Mulaney defends Olivia Munn after Ms Rachel Backlash

The comedian, 42, shared a powerful message through his Instagram story on Wednesday, June 11, to defend his wife, Olivia munnand their two children, Malcolm, 3, and Mei, 8 months.

“My wife Olivia Munn made an innocent comment about what children’s programs we like somehow – unbelievably unbelievable – have linked her not to take care of children’s deaths in Gaza,” he wrote. “Because of this, my wife and two child are now receiving violent and threatening comments and messages in his DMS.”

Mulaney continued to call out the “absolutely crazy” troll, insisting he needed to “stop.” He noted that the people who send the alleged threats are “so wild out of a line and so unobtrusive to any conversation” that is having what is happening in the world.

“My comments were never supposed to reduce the joy, comfort and impact she brings to so many families,” he wrote. “I do not want something to be taken out of his context to be a moment that brings even a minute of joy to anyone.”
