England’s national team, the great Joe Root, decimated the India National Cricket team with its hundred stellar in the fifth Anderson-Tyndulkar 2025 trophy game.

Joe Root reaches an impressive century
The 34-year-old root once again proved why is the best tests in the world playing a game winner at the end of the Anderson-Tendulkar 2025 trophy series.

Above all, the legendary Graham Thorpe died from suicide on August 4, 2024, after being hit by a train at Esher de Surrey Railway Station at the age of 55. His death followed a prolonged struggle with depression and anxiety. To pay tribute to his memory, a “day for Thorpey” was scheduled during the fifth test between England and India, coinciding with what his 56th anniversary would have been.

Speaking to Sky Sports, former England pattern Michael Atherton said that his ex-team Thorpe was a prominent and appreciated player. He made:
“He was a prominent teammate, a appreciated player and a very beloved part of a team that was not particularly successful, but who had a connection to Cricket audience.
“There has been a long story of the game that takes you to dark places, as there is a lot of hope and thought.
“Probably only in the last twenty years, since the publication of Marcus Trescothick’s book, people have been able to talk -I think after Graham’s play race ended and sat down with him, I began to sense those vulnerabilities, but I don’t think any of us realized the importance they were.”
