The star of England, Joe Root, has recovered the first place in the CPI ranking for the Batsmen of evidence after their impressive exhibition of fight against India at Lord’s.
The former England pattern scored 104 and 40 runs to the game to take the first place from his compatriot Harry Brook.
While Root impressed the two entrances, Brook fought when he scored 11 and 23. Root moved to the top of the ICC ranking for the eighth time of his career.
