Jodie Turner-Smith was all smiling as she stepped out in Los Angeles in the middle of her continuing legal drama with ex-husband Joshua Jackson.
Turner-Smith, 38, was wearing a black t-shirt featuring Las Vegas graphic on it, blue jeans, black baseball cap and black flats for the trip on Sunday, June 15. She found the look with a black and white crossbag and chic sunglasses. The model carried a bouquet of flowers as it walked through the outdoor market.
Later that day, Turner-Smith was seen leaving Chateau Marmont in a colorful outfit after a night out with friends in the hot spot. The appearances came as Turner-Smith and Jackson, 47, were battling in court over the issue where their daughter, Juno, 5, should attend an elementary school.
The former couple wrote, whose divorce in May, wrote the two letters together before Jackson filed a motion claiming that Turner-Smith had changed Juno’s school without agreeing to her.
In the motion, which was filed on May 30, Jackson claimed that Turner-Smith felt that “a big deal to force Juno to start with a new school.” She claimed to “try to create a scenario where Juno travels with her instead of attending a traditional school,” per documents obtained by Weekly US.
Jackson pleaded to the court order for his daughter to remain enrolled at the school in which she is currently in for the next year. The actor also asked for a joint approval between him and Turner-Smith on Juno’s education in the future.
It included a Letter written to Turner-Smith On May 26 offers it for Juno’s education.
“I’m happy that we get this dialogue and look forward to reaching an agreement together that balances the need for each (Juno) to give her the best possible outcome,” he wrote. “I think making the most of frequent, continuous and meaningful contact should be leading light (through) all these conversations and parenting time planning. Juno needs both of us.

“I’m open to Juno to be with you anytime you may be able to return to Los Angeles (during her time off in London to work). I don’t think it is good for Juno to go as long as you have offered without seeing either parent, whenever we are reasonably possible to avoid without putting excessive stress on Juno,” he wrote. “At this age 4 weeks is eternity for her. I understand why you are prepared to agree to get Juno being located in Los Angeles during that time, it reduces air travel stress and time zone moves on it.”
Turner-Smith allegedly wrote a letter to Jackson On May 23 about hoping to take Juno with her when she’s going to work abroad.
“Hello Josh. Thank you for your message. I appreciate your recognition of how fluid the production timeline can be,” he wrote. “Your willingness to accommodate that liquidity makes a real difference.”
“I am also pleased that we agree that our shared aim is to provide as much meaningful stability, consistency and time for Juno with both of us as possible,” the letter continued. “I hear and appreciate your point that this is ultimately her time with all of us, and not the other way. That framing feels important.”
Previously, Jackson and Turner-Smith accelerated a divorce deal in May, agreeing to Juno’s legal and physical joint custody. Turner-Smith claimed that Jackson had breached the terms of their divorce settlement in a proposal saying that he stopped him from having the final say over Juno’s school. Jackson fired back to the claims in filing June 12, claiming Turner-Smith was the one not follow their deal. In particular, Jackson claimed that Turner-Smith did not consult him before making the decision about the school, which allegedly chose a school that was far away from her rent home.
“Jodie has not gained the right to choose schools under the terms of the orders, because she failed to participate in sincere efforts to meet and give,” he claimed.
The case is still ongoing.
