Hewitt was just 18 when he rose to international fame through a huge teenage horror film 1997 I know what you did last summer – And even younger when she first started her body.
“In my 30s I went back and looked at that time again and I was like, ‘Oh my God’,” he told a teenager Mayim Biikik on Neakdown podcast. “Men had grown talking to me at the age of 16 about my breasts openly on a talking show, and people were laughing about it. I don’t even remember that, I didn’t take that part in it, but in retrospect it was very strange I think of becoming a sex symbol in kind of people before I even knew what that was. “
Now at the age of 45, Hewitt said she “didn’t even know what sexual meant” when she started making shoots for men’s magazines. “I was on cover Maxim Magazines, and people would walk up openly and similarly, “I went with your magazine with me on a tour last week ‘,” he said. “I didn’t know what that meant, you know what I mean? It’s kind of gross. I think later it strikes me more, kind of things that I went through probably somewhere. But at the time, he felt very innocent and exciting and fun. “

He did not register with me that this was a growing man, talking about my breasts on national television. “
Hewitt says she is now “grateful” that she did not think too deeply at the time. “If I had taken on some of that earlier, I think it would have messed with me a little, but did not for whatever reason,” he said. “When I watched the Britney Spears Document, that was the light bulb for me honestly. When I watched, I finished watching it, and my husband (Brian Hallisay) Similarly, ‘Why do you look so disturbed?’ And I was like, ‘I know how that feels.’ I know sit there and get those questions and never dawned on me that it was inappropriate. “
Hewitt added that she appreciated everything the body image has moved on since she found fame. “By the way, I don’t blame them for asking the questions or doing the jokes or doing it,” he said. “It was a fully accepted culture. They were allowed to believe that appropriate, I answered the questions, laughing right on. I have no problem with them for doing it. But when you sit and look at where we are now against then, it really blows mind. “
