Brody opened about how he and Blanco first met in Hawaii on an episode of “The Viall Files” podcastnoting he first slipped into his DMS after watching it on the TV show The pretty surfer.
“I was like, ‘Who’s this girl? I’ve never heard of her. She’s amazing. She’s beautiful. She’s surfing better than all these (people).’ I was blown away, so I looked up.
The two spoke on and away for a year before meeting in Hawaii while Brody was on a family holiday. “She wanted me to get to it, and I was like, ‘Listen, my whole family is here. I can’t really leave.’ And I was like, ‘Look, there’s one side of Pleg. And honestly, as soon as I saw her, as soon as I got up from the airport, I was in complete love. I mean, she’s amazing. I’m very lucky, very luckily to have her. ”
He also teased the nuptials of the forthcoming pair by noting that he “really wanted to see her” in a wedding dress. “I finally found the right person and we have this beautiful girl. And I want to see honey at the wedding, and I want to see her watch Tia. And I think we want a small dress for honey,” he said. “It feels more now as this is a family. It feels right, so I feel like I’m in a place in my life where I want to get married. I want it. I want the family. I want the kids.”
