Jenna Bush Hager and her husband, Henry Hagerdid a little interesting preparation for his Today with Jenna & Friends Cohosting gig.
“(He is) not on television or anything of that, as at all. So we did therapy the Sunday before he hosted the show,” revealed Bush Hager, 43, on the episode on Tuesday, April 1, from Jenna and his friends. “Just for his nerves. I wanted to make sure that working together didn’t ruin the flow at home.”
When asked by guests on Tuesday, Olivia munnWhether the couple’s home life was affected by the two -chapter hosting period, Bush Hager said, “No, it didn’t spoil the flow.”
Hager, 46, finished Jenna and his friends” Family Week “guests by sitting alongside his wife during Thursday chapters, March 27, and Friday, March 28. According to Bush Hager, her husband and supporters were happily surprised by his on -screen presence.

“He did well. And I was on a book tour with my sister (Barbara’s bush), and these people were (in) as, now, Henry was so cute! ”Bush Hager told Munn, 44, who agreed that she and Hager were” truly cute “on the show together.
Bush Hager met her husband as he worked on her father George W. BushA presidential second -choice campaign in 2004. During his Jenna and his friends first appearance of cohosting On Thursday, Hager remembered picking up a Bush Hager from the White House for one of their first dates, he only went wrong when he pulled into a gas station to fill his truck.
“My roller truck started back. The secret service was behind my truck,” he revealed. “I slammed on the urgent break and just a few bumper taps.”
Bush Hager remembered her husband’s ears “bright red,” and told fans that their “tax dollars were not used to repair (their cars).”
They both went on to get married in 2008 and since they have become parents to Three children – Mila Girls, 11, and Poppy, 9, and Son Hal, 5. Bush Hager surprised her partner with a sweet “luck” video message from their children during the episode on Thursday. “I’m sure you’re going to make the best,” Hal shared promisingly in the clip.
The pair continued to open for their family life on the show the next day, with Bush Hager revealing that their son has come “Jealously from our romance.” Hager went on to explain, “We were all in the kitchen and he was eating and everyone was pretty happy. And we went over and I gave you a kiss, just a nice little kiss, a little bit, and Hal just started to cry bawling.”
Hager described Hal’s response as “complete destruction” and told his son that the reason he was born was because “your mother and I like each other.” Hager noted that he went on to press in for another kiss, whom Bush Hager joked he did “only to oppose the poor guy.”
Bush Hager thanked her husband for joining her on the show in sweet Instagram tribute on Friday. “Feeling extremely grateful for a man who showed me (though he is not his cup of tea!), He laughed with me and fully supported me! I love him – even after that lie sensor test!” He wrote alongside grabs of their chapters. “And love my family @jennaandfriends!”
Munn is about to cohost Jenna and his friends Through Friday, April 4. Bush Hager has continued all -fin with the fourth hour of Today with a variety of Celebrity guests for Feast Leaving the NBC morning show back in January.
