In reflecting on the diagnosis of his son’s autism, Jax Taylor He admitted he would love nothing more than living with Cruz “the rest of his life.”
“We have known (for his diagnosis) for a while. Obviously, as we are a public figure, we have to be very tender in how we are doing things,” explained Taylor, 45, Weekly US on Thursday, April 10, at the red carpet premiere for The valley Season 2. “Cruz did not register for this life. He is literally the best thing that has ever happened to us.”
Taylor gawed over his 3 -year -old son’s milestones, adding, “I get emotional just talking (about it) because it’s so delicious. It’s so insightful. It’s so intelligent. It’s short of a few in the verbal but it gets there. It has such a huge support system.”
It was important for Taylor and a woman who is disengaged Brittany Cartwright to “Put our things aside”For the sake of Cruz.
“We want that little boy to thrive. That’s the most important thing. It’s not about her and me, it’s about it,” Taylor continued. “He is in school and is in speech and vocational therapy. It’s about so much. It takes him a little longer. But, you know what? If he wants to live with me for the rest of his life, that’s right.”
Taylor and Cartwright, 36, Found love after appearing on Numerous seasons of VanderPump Rules. After their 2020 departure VprThe pair expanded their family with his son Cruz before returning to reality TV with The valley.
Between seasons 1 and 2, Taylor and Cartwright made headings for separation and the cause of subsequent divorce. Cartwright revealed earlier this month that they had continued to prioritize coparenting after Cruz was previously diagnosed with autism six months.
“There are many parents going through this. I would love to contact other families,” admitted Taylor Us on Thursday. “I want to help raise money and raise awareness. It’s a very big deal in society today. So if we can help children out and understand this a little more, I feel this is what I’m here about. I want to help.”
VanderPump manages Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor alums has been documenting their son Cruz milestones since welcoming it in April 2021. “I mean, just felt inside you so incredible,” Cartwright only said only a weekly US for pregnancy in June 2023.
Taylor, who recently spoke about his path to sobriety after struggling with addiction, also explained why Cruz’s diagnosis – and he did not – Bring it and Cartwright closer.
“Obviously, it has. But that’s not the main reason why we don’t come on. I don’t want people to say that,” he noted. “We talk every day. We’re right today but God knows what will happen tomorrow. Anyone who goes through divorce goes through this. I don’t know who’s not. It’s just a difficult thing but we’re going to be right.”
